Framing Meaning was a project about comparison starting from two subjects that are similar. I chose the piggy bank vs an actual bank. This books goes through comparing the genre, style, stereotype, institution, ideology, discourse, myth, and paradigm. The way I approached the form of my book, was inspiration from my childhood; the books with the hidden flaps that allows you to look and find the hidden areas of the book as you go. I thought it would be a great way to do a comparison book of the actual grown up item compared to what life was like when a child had a piggy bank.
